AMT provides a comprehensive set of services on commercial and industrial sites around the installation of the electric meter. This includes installation of CTs, VTs all ancillary meter equipment and energy management systems.

Meter installation is our core business. We are a vendor neutral firm and have installed thousands of utility type Electric meters and Submeters from virtually every manufacturer. All of these electric meters communicate remotely with a central station and we have trained our meter technicians to also have expertise in communications cabling, thereby eliminating the need to outsource to more than one vendor.

AMT also performs maintenance, field testing, meter reading, and Integration Services on a variety of Electric meters and submeters and monitoring equipment.

Our Solar Electric Panel Installation business has been in operation for almost 2 years now. AMT has installed dozens of solar electric systems in residential and commercial facilities throughout California.

AMT technicians average over 20 years in utility meter installation and integration services including complete CT and VT installation and wiring, engineering, meter programming and testing. We specialize in the installation and programming of interval data meters with remote communications and we are a one-stop shop for electric metering and remote communications cabling installation.

Our experiences in meters include products from Elster, General Electric, Landis & Gyr, Power Measurements, Schlumberger, Transdata and others.

COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES

Our technicians provide Communications Services for common phone line, Ethernet, Modbus or other communications including fiber optic. End-customers have become more cognizant of web-posted data and we have seen an increased need for additional energy management systems and equipment.

AMT has successfully installed thousands of telephone line extensions during the electric meter or sub metering installation.

Similarly, AMT has much experience installing various electric submeter equipment. We have installed electric submeters in over 35 states - typically on national chains.

Our experience installing electric submeters include equipment from Electro Industries, eLutions, Emon, Engage Networks, Hunt Technologies, Itron, kW Aware, MeterSmart, North American Power Products, Power Measurements, Teldata, Tecom, Veris Industries and other electric submetering devices.

INTEGRATION SERVICES

On many occasions, AMT is called upon to ensure that the electric meter equipment installed is integrated into a customer's present system. Our staff of engineers and technicians are amply experienced in ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
